Wade Dennis Strace, 71, of Elkland, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021.
He was born May 11, 1950, in Detroit, Mich. to Lawrence and Margaret (Benjamin) Strace, who preceded him in death.
On May 22, 1971, he married Patricia A. Cook.
He proudly served his country with the United States Navy for seven years and was in the reserves for 30 years. He retired with 37 years services. He was also a millwright with the Chrysler Corporation.
Survivors include his wife Patricia of the home; two children, Timothy Strace of Rolla and Tracey Wilkinson of Elkland; three grandchildren, Tabatha, Dylan and Cheyenne; two great-grandchildren, Layla and Quinn; a sister, Christine and husband Raymond Talaski of Decker, Mich.; two brothers, Mark Strace and wife Jean of Houston, Texas and Larry Strace and wife Jo of Michigan; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorial services for Wade Dennis Strace will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at Conway United Methodist Church in Conway, under the direction of Day Funeral Home of Marshfield.
