TIMOTHY JONATHAN "TIM" HARDESTY

Timothy Jonathan “Tim’’ Hardesty, 74, of Richland died Sunday, July 9, 2023, in Richland.

He was born Oct. 7, 1948, in Crocker to Frank Jack and Ella Marie Peterson Hardesty.

On Aug. 24, 1968, he was united in marriage to Beth Ann Skaggs.

Those preceding him in death include his parents and one brother, Frank J. Hardesty.

Tim retired from Crocker Public School System, where he was a longtime Physical Education teacher and Baseball Coach.

He was a longtime, active and faithful member of First Baptist Church of Richland.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Beth; two daughters, Holli Hardesty Bryant and her husband Arthur of Springfield, and Kelli April Hardesty of New Orleans, La.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill Skaggs and his wife Beth of Monett; Jim Skaggs and his wife Dorothy of Crocker; Jeff Skaggs and his wife Denise of Crocker and Jill Skaggs, also of Crocker; one granddaughter, Madison Grace Bryant; several nieces and nephews; other relatives, church family and many dear friends.

Funeral services for Tim Hardesty will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Richland. Burial will be in Crocker Cemetery. Visitation for Tim will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, July 14, 2023, also at First Baptist Church in Richland, until service time. Memorials have been suggested in memory of Tim to First Baptist Church Scholarship Fund. Please make checks payable to First Baptist Church Scholarship Fund.
