Director of Parks John Shelton reported on the progress of Atchley Park’s batting cages as well as the ongoing Wallace Park construction during Wednesday’s Park Board meeting. The board also discussed the prospect of future city QR code integration as well other department events and projects.
Atchley Park’s Jaden Conner Memorial Batting Cages are nearly finished, according to Shelton, with a few final components still needing to arrive. Wallace Park has seen its concrete poured and playground construction begin.
