Ronald Martin Waterman, 66, of Eldridge, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020, at his home.

He was born May 28, 1954, in Eldridge, Mo. to Virgil and Hazel Young Waterman.

On Feb. 18, 1994, he married Linness Leann Timm, and they shared the last 26 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Gene Waterman and Joe Lee Waterman; and two sisters, Margaret Waterman and Gloria Schultz.

Ronald was born and raised in the Laclede County area and graduated from Lebanon High School. He then made his home in the Lebanon area and was the host of the “Ozark Sportsman’’ television program for many years. He loved antiques and owned and operated an auction house where he served as the licensed auctioneer for some time.

Ronald made his profession of faith in Christ early in his life and loved the Lord with all his heart.

He is survived by his wife Lynness of the home; two daughters, Donna Ray of Roach, and Rachael Waterman and her fiance’, Brent; three stepsons, Kenneth Offut and his wife Randi of Carl Junction; Corry Offut and his wife Brooke of Licking and Derek Wildhagen of Eldridge; his grandchildren, Kali Moore, Kyle Alexander, Justin Ray, Jace Fera, Alex and Madison Offut and Cason Offut; great-grandchildren, Harper McDonald, Rory Moore, Brooks Moore, Ripp Ray, Dallas Ray and Hayley Rolfe; two brothers, David Waterman of Lebanon and Charles Waterman of Lebanon; one sister, Ada Canon of Branch, Mo.

Funeral services for Ronald Martin Waterman will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon with the Rev. Charles Waterman officiating. Burial will be in the Hufft Cemetery near Eldridge, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon. Visitation will follow the service in the funeral home.
