Patrol has extra troopers on road this weekend

With Missourians hitting the road this Memorial Day weekend, the Missouri Highway Patrol asks drivers to be cautious and use good judgment when traveling. Impaired driving excessive speeds, and not wearing set belts are some of the concerns that can accompany the increased Memorial Day weekend traffic, law enforcement officers said. Sgt. Mike Mitchell, Public Information Officer for Troop I said additional troopers will be out this weekend, particularly on Monday to help with the patrol’s CARE (Combined Accident Reduction Effort).
