The Laclede County Commission noted among other business during their meeting on Tuesday that Rally Networks was busy installing fiber optic cables for broadband services in northern parts of the county.
Presiding Commissioner Randy Angst reported that from his conversation with the Rally representative, he gathered that the “on” switch of the fiber network would be flicked in about two months time. The project is funded through the Universal Service Fund.
