NORMA “JEAN’’ DAUBERT

Norma “Jean’’ Daubert, 86, of Lebanon, died Friday, Feb. 26, 2021, in Lebanon.
She was born Feb. 2, 1935, in Laclede County, Mo. to Melvin D. and Freddie V. Morgan Wilkins.
On July 11, 1983, she married Joseph Daubert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Joseph Daubert; one brother, Leonard; step-grandson, Daniel, and step-great-grandson, Emmett.
Jean graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1953. She worked for H.D. Lee for more than 20 years. She was a talented seamstress, specializing in her quilts. According to her family, her love language was cooking. She enjoyed crafting and tending to her gardens, both flower and vegetable. However, time spent with her family is what she treasured most.
She is survived by her children, Janet West and her husband Steve of Abilene, Kan. and Jeff Riggs and his wife Lisa of Lebanon; stepdaughter and beloved caregiver, Pam Riggs of Lebanon; stepchildren, Danette Woodard and Joe, Lynae Daubert, Scott Daubert and his wife Emma and Joyce Gregory; four siblings, Dale Wilkins, Dorothy Herzberg, Hayes Wilkins and Jane Gooding; 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
A private graveside service for Norma “Jean’’ Daubert will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at Bolles Cemetery under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Monday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. To sign the guestbook online please visit shadelscolonialchapel.com.
