A popular Route 66 attraction, Lebanon’s Munger Moss Motel has been sold and will remain open to travelers.
Mary Jo Shadel, the daughter of owner Ramona Lehman, confirmed the sale Tuesday.
The new owner is Mark Bertel, CEO of the Dels Corportation of Mountain Home, Ark. Last year, he renovated the old OYO Hotel in Lebanon into apartment space.
Bertel released a statement Tuesday about his plans for the historic motel. “Our goal at The Dels Corporation is to preserve history while also adding value to communities,” he said.
