MARIETA JUNE GRAVEN

Marieta June Graven, 83, of St. Louis, died Tuesday, May 30, 2023, in St. Louis.

She was born June 16, 1939, in Laclede County to Joseph and Della Wall Randolph.

On Dec. 20, 1958, she was united in marriage to John Ray Graven.

Those preceding her in death include her parents and seven siblings, Bobby Randolph, Mona Ellis, Jack Randolph, Bonnie Buttram, Noval Randolph Margaret Lindsay and Paula Kaufmann.

Marieta was a devoted homemaker. She always put the needs of her family first. She enjoyed baking and made beautiful flower arrangements. She was also a talented seamstress. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, spending quality time with them is what she most treasured.

She was a longtime member of South County Baptist Church.

Marieta is survived by her husband John Ray Graven; two children, Donna Bouckaert and her husband Dave of St. Louis, and Kevin Graven and his wife Debbie of Wildwood; siblings, Patsy Barker, Donald Randolph and his wife Vickie and David Randolph and his wife Helen; five grandchildren, Justin Bouckaert and his wife Erin, Lauren Frazier and her husband Jeremy, Kyle Graven, Ryan Graven and Riley Graven; five great-grandchildren, Brant, Adelyn and Teagan Bouckaert, Emily and Alice Frazier; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Marieta June Graven will be held at noon Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Pastor John Childers officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carney Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time, also at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to Mt. Carney Cemetery. Please make checks payable to Mt.
