In the championship game, Lebanon fell to Southern Boone

The Lebanon High School girls’ soccer team got the season started with a second-place finish at the Heritage Bank Kickoff tournament on Friday and Saturday at ‘Jacket Stadium.
In the championship game, Lebanon (2-2 overall, 0-1 Ozark Conference) squared off against Southern Boone.
The Eagles scored two goals in the first half and added one late in the second half to take the tournament championship trophy home for the seventh year in a row, winning 3-0.
“Southern Boone is a really good team,” Lebanon head coach Matt Jernigan said.
