Kenneth Wayne “Kenny’’ Wasmer, 72, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, May 25, 2022, in Lebanon.

He was born Aug. 13, 1949, in Lebanon, Mo. to James Leonard and Grace Armstrong Wasmer.

Kenny married Linda Joan Griffin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Linda on May 20, 2011; one son, Kevan Wayne Wasmer; siblings, Marjorie, Eugene, Velma, Jerry and one brother in childhood; also his longtime companion, Barbara Davis.

According to his family, Kenny was a “Jack of all trades.’’ He worked at the Stave Mill for a period of time and also did construction in the area. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. He also raised Doberman Pinschers. However, his two special dogs were “Loco’’ and “Kilo.’’ Kenny’s most treasured times were spent with with his family and friends.

He is survived by two daughters, Melline Perry of Richland and Malinda Wilson (Joseph) of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Amy Aszlee Perry (Jason Graham), Ashley Nicole Brown (Coleman McNett), Ivy Gene Perry (Joshua Lee), Jacob Wayne Appleberry (Jessica Rizor), Tonya Grace Appleberry (Dakota Jackson), 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Pruitt and Elmer Wasmer (Donna); one sister, Faye Chastain; best friend and AC/DC competitor, Stacy Prater; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A Celebration of Life for Kenneth Wayne “Kenny’’ Wasmer will be held at a later date. His body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
