Joan Levene (Gan) Lewis, 83, of St. Robert died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2023, in the Mercy Hospital of Springfield.
She is survived by one daughter, Toni Stevens (David) of St. Robert; one granddaughter, Ashley Stevens of St. Louis; four sisters, Effie Bales of Richland; Pauline LaMountain of Waynesville; Marlin Sue Stevens of Waynesville, and Sandra Fagan (Roland) of Laquey; one brother, Richard Gan (Susan) of Crocker; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25, 2023, in the Mt. Gibson Baptist Church of Waynesville. Burial was in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery of Waynesville. Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday in the Memorial Chapel and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Joan Lewis to the Mt. Gibson Baptist Church Building Fund or the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home and may be left at Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
