David “Dave’’ Troutman, 90, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield.

He was born Jan. 28, 1932, to Leonard Briscoe Troutman and Izora Belle Brown.

Dave and his wife Kay were married Jan. 1, 1955.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters, and two brothers.

Dave served in the U.S. Navy then transferred to the U.S. Air Force for a total of 22 years serving in Vietnam and England. In 1973 he moved to Lebanon and opened Treasure Trove Antiques which he operated for 40 years. He served 12 years on the Lebanon City Council. He was also a member and president of the Lebanon Lions Club. Dave was an original board member of the Lebanon-Laclede County Route 66 Society. Although antiquing was his passion, he also enjoyed bowling. Family was very important to him and he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchild.

He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lebanon.

Survivors include his wife Kay of the home; one daughter, Susan Kay Troutman-Hall and her husband Michael of Lebanon; one son, Charles David “Chuck’’ Troutman and his wife Vicky of Edmond, Okla.; three grandchildren, Lindsay, Cody, and Jessie, and one great-grandchild, Cash.

Funeral services for David Troutman will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, at the Mount Rose Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum in Lebanon with the Rev. David Brown officiating.

Burial will be at Mount Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum in Lebanon, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Friday at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon.

A memorial has been established for Wounded Warriors and contributions may be made through the funeral home.
