MSGT (Ret) Charles Menno Bahr, 79, of St. Robert, died Sunday, March 19, 2023, in the Dixon Nursing and Rehab Center.
He is survived by his wife Mary of the home; three children, Joseph Bahr (Kim) of St. Robert; Angela Bahr (Ben) of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., and Martina Renee of Lincoln, Neb.; six grandchildren, Joseph II (Kendra), Jacob, Sabryna, Justin, Jessica and Dustin; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol Pitman of Erie, Ill.; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Johnson of Gallup, N.M.; three stepchildren, J.R. Gabaldon and Julie Ann Gabaldon, both of the state of New Mexico, and Joseph Gabaldon (Arabella) of the state of Texas; six step-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023, in Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery FLW in Waynesville. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Memorial contributions in memory of Charles Bahr may be made and may be left at the funeral home.
