CAROLYN FAYE LAWSON

Carolyn Faye Lawson, 82, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022, in Lebanon South Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lebanon.

She was born Oct. 25, 1940, in St. Louis, Mo. to Charles E. and Thelma Stephenson Almsted.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Barbara Johnson and Charlene Schneider.

She lived most of her life in the St. Louis area and the last 20 years in the Pacific area. She had worked at various factories throughout the years, and was always a devoted homemaker to her family. She was a talented pianist and enjoyed playing for herself, her family and friends. She also was an avid reader. Her life revolved around her church and her family.

Carolyn had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of First Baptist Church of Pacific. Her faith was very important to her and she loved her Lord.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen King and her husband Ed of Knob Lick, Mo.; two grandchildren, David King and his wife Trista of Lebanon, and Tara Gann and her husband Bill of Staunchfield, Minn.; four great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services for Carolyn Lawson will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, at Pacific Baptist Church in Pacific, Mo. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. in the church under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
