Carol Judy Sewell, 70, of Lebanon, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, in her home near Lebanon.

She was born May 26, 1951, near Hartville, Mo. to Virgil and Oleta Moore Renfro.

Early in her life she married Charles “Chuck’’ Cook, and to this union one daughter and two sons were born. Chuck preceded her in death. On April 19, 2005, she married Robert F. Sewell and they shared the last 16 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Debbie Wallace.

She was raised in Wright County and attended Mansfield schools. She had made her home in Lebanon for the last several years. In addition being a devoted homemaker to her husband and family, Carol also worked as a seamstress for Tracker Marine for over 20 years.

Survivors include her husband Robert of the home; a daughter, Lori Cook of Conway; two sons, Lonnie Cook and his wife Connie of Eldridge, and Matthew Cook and his wife Shannon of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Rick Renfro; a sister, Crenna Long and her husband Bill of Norwood; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services and burial for Carol Judy Sewell will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, at the Mount Zion Southern Baptist Church near Hartville, under th e direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
