BILLIE JEAN McFARLIN

Billie Jean McFarlin, 85, of Lebanon, died Friday evening, Jan. 15, 2021, at her home.

She was born March 18, 1935, in Monett, Ark. to Sylvester and Jewell Goss Foresythe.

On April 21, 1949, she married Kenneth McFarlin, and to this union two daughters and three sons were born.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Kenneth on June 13, 2019; a daughter, Patsy Batson; two sons, Kenneth and Tom McFarlin; two grandsons, Justin and Joey Batson; a brother, Bobby McFarlin; and three sisters, Glenda Hoaglan, Maxine Brunenkant, and Deloris Sharp.

Billie Jean was born and raised in Arkansas and then moved with her family to Arizona after her mother passed away. After she and Kenneth were married, they made their home in Arizona and loving raised their children. Billie was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family and also worked for the Lake Roosevelt Arizona Forestry Service at Tonto Basin National Park for over 20 years. She and Kenneth moved to Lebanon four years ago.

She was devout Baptist and followed the Baptist faith throughout her life.

She is survived by one daughter, Janice Black and husband James of Lebanon; one brother, Charles Foresythe and his wife Margie of the state of Oregon; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
