Barbara Jean Swenson, 70, of Lebanon, was born Jan. 3, 1955, in Wolfe County, Ky. and died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, in Lebanon.
She is survived by her husband Peter; three sons, Anthony Burris of Campbellsville, Ky., Shannon Burris and his wife Ranita of Lebanon and Russell Swenson II and his wife Michelle of Macks Creek; her mother, Shirley Spencer; seven siblings, Dwayne Spencer and his wife Tammy of Cookeville, Tenn., Rhonda Nunez and her husband Luis of Miami, Fla., Brian Spencer and his wife Michelle of Campbellsville, Ky., Tonya Hagan and her husband Greg of Campbellsville, Ky., Djuana Nolley of Campbellsville, Ky., Marty Spencer of Campbellsville, Ky. and Lori Perez of Tennessee; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life was held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2025, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Pastor Cecil Peppers officiating. There is no scheduled burial. Her wishes were to be cremated. Visitation was 9:30 a.m. until service time Friday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
