Bobby Harold Tyre, 81, of Lebanon, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2026, in Lebanon, Missouri.
He was born December 18, 1944, in Plato, Missouri to Roy Perkins and Alta Jane (Rogers) Tyre.
On January 30, 1971, he was united in marriage to Mary Sue Hicks.
Those preceding him in death include his parents, granddaughter, Jennifer Duke and one sister, Dot Campbell.
Bobby worked as an auto mechanic for Bill Wright Toyota in Bakersfield, California for many years. He continued working on cars for the majority of his life. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, especially in Colorado and traveling with family. He was an avid NASCAR and Denver Broncos fan. Time spent with family is what he treasured most.
He was a member of Flatwoods Church for many years.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Tyre; children, Mary Bennett, Connie Levingston and her husband Steve, Lisa Levingston, Lori Chaffins and Melissa Tyre-Walker and her husband Rob; two brothers, Jack Tyre and his wife Sharon and Ted Tyre; two sisters, Betty Tyre and Deborah Kay Cleveland and her husband Rual; eight grandchildren, Amanda Riley and her husband Joseph, Kathryn Patterson and her husband Kevin, Arandanne Crow-Tyre and her wife Tina Crow, Robert Walker, Lauren Walker, Christopher Chaffins, Joshua Tyre and his wife Trish, Breanna Levingston and her children; six great-grandchildren, Ryan Jensen, Landon Riley, Jaxon Riley, Skyler Maher, Hannah Duke, Ashley Tyre and Brooklyn Tyre; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2026, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Gerald Dame officiating. Burial was in Flatwoods Cemetery.
Visitation began at 5:00 Sunday evening at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
