Allen “Al’’ Edward Fellows, 81, of Republic, formerly of Lebanon, died Wednesday evening, March 18, 2020, at Mercy Hospital Springfield.
He was born July 25, 1938, in the state of Arkansas to Harvey Manuel and Mary Vera Newberry Feller.
On Feb. 23, 1957, he married Juanite Ann Boston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Ernest Cain.
Al retired from the United States Air Force after 26 years of distinguished service.
He followed the Baptist faith throughout his life.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Ann, of the home; a daughter, Sherrie Craun of the state of Virginia; two sons, Terry Fellows of the state of Ohio, and Kenneth Fellows of the state of Virginia; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Kenna Westerman of the state of Florida, and Sandra Pauley of the state of Arkansas; several nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services and burial with Full Military Honors for Allen “Al’’ Edward Fellows will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2020, at the Lebanon Cemetery with the Rev. Greg Turner officiating, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
