Janet Colleen Waterman, 74, of Lebanon, died Sunday, April 28, 2024, in Springfield.

She was born April 8, 1950, in Lebanon, Mo. to James Harold and Maggie Satterfield Eslinger.

Those preceding her in death include her parents; one brother, Hershel Eslinger; and one sister, Audrey Blattel.

Colleen worked at H.D. Lee Factory for many years. More recently she worked at Emerson Climate Technologies, until her retirement. Colleen had quite a green thumb and took great pride in her flower gardens. Among her favorites were her rose bushes and her day lilies. Of all the many things she loved about this life, time spent and laughter shared with family is what she treasured most.

She is survived by her husband Larry; one sister, Barbara Phillips and her husband David of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews, including a very special great-great-nephew, Caleb McKimmey; other relatives and many dear friends.

There is no service planned at this time for Colleen. At her request, her body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.
