Funds for body cameras for Sheriff's Office approved

The County Commission approved an agreement to fund body cameras for the Laclede County Sheriff Office on Tuesday. The commission also read a letter from the Missouri Department of Transpsortation signaling the approaching end of the Adopt-A-Highway Program as well as discussed further community outreach on tax credit/freeze applications. Sheriff David Millsap brought an agreement that would match the Missouri Department of Public Safety’s fifty-fifty grant with funds from the Lebanon Area Foundation to provide 18 body cameras for the Sheriff’s Office.
