Zack Stewart is coming off his freshman season as the starting right fielder for the Missouri State Bears.
The Bears finished the 2023 campaign with an overall record of 33-23 (18-9 Missouri Valley Conference).
On May 22, Stewart was named the Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Year for his play on the field and became the 10th MVC Freshman of the Year from MSU.
“It meant a lot to me,” Stewart said of the award. “It’s truly an honor and a blessing to get that award in a conference with as much talent as the Missouri Valley Conference.”
