"You can't argue with God"

Couple of more than 30 years say God brought them together even though they lived hundreds of miles apart

Valentines Day in the 21st century is filled with tales of couples who found romance via the Internet, but long before, men and women were discovering ways to find one another, despite the substantial geographic barriers that might otherwise have kept them apart.
In the 1980s, Stephen Hubbell of Montana and Kathryn “Kathy” Street of Missouri, both devout Christians, found themselves divorced from their previous spouses through no choice of their own.

Kathryn was well aware that the Lord was known to use all sorts of unusual techniques, from a burning bush to a talking donkey, to get his children’s attention, according to Old Testament scriptures. After her divorce, despite the advice of well-meaning friends and relatives, she knew she didn’t want to get involved in the search for someone new. Her prayer was simple:

“Father, if you want me to have another husband, please put him in my front yard. I don’t want to got looking for one. Please give me a praying man. I will wait for you to provide.”
