CLINTON, Iowa — Five games into his first summer of college-level baseball, Lebanon’s Zach Stewart is enjoying himself and showing he belongs.
“I’m loving it,” Stewart, just graduated from Lebanon High School, said Monday night from the on-deck circle at NelsonCorp Field. “It’s been a great experience.”
Stewart plays first base for the Quincy, Ill., Gems in the Prospect League, considered one of the top wood-bat leagues in the country for college ballplayers.
