It was a successful week for the Lebanon High School wrestling programs as the boys’ varsity team took first place in the Smithville Tournament that featured several state-ranked teams in Class 3. The girls’ varsity team took first at the Cape Classic, and the JV boys’ team took first at the Lebanon Invitational.
At the Smithville tournament, LHS came in as the No. 7 ranked team in Missouri Class 3, per Missouri Wrestling, but finished the tournament in first with 171 team points. Whitfield (ranked No. 1 in Class 3) came in second with 158 points, Hillsboro (ranked No. 6) came in third with 152 points, and Neosho (ranked No. 2) rounded out the top four with 137 points.
