Wood promoted to airport supervisor

Posted

Mike Wood is looking forward to working full-time in his new job as the supervisor at the Floyd W. Jones Airport.
Wood currently handles the accounts receivable for the finance department of the City of Lebanon and only spends two days a week at the airport.
Wood said Jarrad Schomaker, the city’s IT manager and a fellow Air Force vet, is the manager of the airport who will work with grants and the overall monetary constraints of the department, leaving Wood to supervise the daily operations of the airport.
“Fortunately, from what I’ve seen so far, we kind of think alike, so I feel really good about that,” Wood said.
