Wilson ready to shine on gridiron

Posted

It was a Wednesday afternoon, and senior Tristan Wilson had just finished up at track practice when he walked into the offensive meeting room inside the Lebanon football team’s locker room and announced that he had just received his 13th official offer from Iowa State University to play football and continue his academic career. Since then, he has received two more offers from Buffalo and TCU.
The 6-foot-5 offensive lineman sits down in the rolling chair alongside Lebanon offensive line coach Garret Wade, and something about Wilson pops out to you when meeting him for the first time.
He is the epitome of cool. He aims to please and works hard every single day that he gets the opportunity to.
“I first met Tristan at the middle school weights we have in the offseason, and that would’ve been his 7th grade year,” Wade mentioned about the two’s first time they interacted. “You could tell through the way that he moved, his size, and his work ethic that he was going to be a special talent.
