Willie Todd Buchanan, 81, of Lebanon, died early Friday morning, Dec. 19, 2020, at her home.
She was born Oct. 7, 1939, in Blythe, Calif., to Jason Jackson and Loulu May (Fitzpatrick) Jackson.
On March 4, 1995, Willie married James Spencer Buchanan, who died in 2002.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Teresa Todd; her siblings, Nora Griggs, Louise Carter, Lucille Robinson, Gladys Lewis, Paul Jackson, Jason Jackson Jr., Louis Jackson, Mable Jackson-Dailey, Hosea Jackson, Henry Jackson, Lou Della Hatton, and George Jackson.
Willie was a foster parent to many children as well as an entrepreneur.
She loved so many and was loved by so many. In celebration of her life, rejoice that she is dancing, singing, laughing, praising in her Heavenly home with Abba Father.
Willie is survived by four daughters, Esther (Ronald) Medley, of Springfield, Tina (Steve) Todd-Long, of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Tonica (Maurice) Sutton, of St. Robert, Tashalla Shines, of Maricopa, Ariz.; eleven grandchildren, Tomorrah (Donnie) Roberson, Tarrell (Jodie) Howard, Talonn (Kastriot Maloku) Medley, Ronald Medley Jr., Tybius Medley, Talyah Medley, Timonyeh Shines, Tinyarah Shines, Tekiyah Shines, Tomiyah Shines, and Gabrielah Shines; seven great-grandchildren, Cameron Roberson, Jarod Roberson, Troy Roberson, Maxwell Roberson, Jericho Jennison, Fathom Medley, and Tru’ Medley; extended children, Domminic Davis, Darlene Jones, Michael Booker, Eric Booker, Yewlunda Booker, Destiny (Armoni Barbour) Landry, Ariana (Malaya and Malani Dorsey) Landry, Cassandra Porter II and family; along with hundreds of others; a sister Laura Washington, of Riverside Calif.; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon. She will be buried in Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, Calif.
