William Edward “Bill’’ Ersery Jr., 80, of Lebanon, was born Sept. 8, 1943, in Dixon to William Edward Ersery Sr. and Opal Hester Penelton Ersery, and died Tuesday, March 5, 2024, in Springfield. He is survived by his wife Helen Lucille “Lucy’’ Ersery; one son, William Edward “B.J.’’ Ersery III and his wife Dawn of Kansas City, Kan.; one granddaughter and a special family member, Katlin Mott. There will be a Celebration of Life service at a later date for Bill. At his request, his body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to New Life Project. Donations may be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, 1001 N. Lynn or P.O. Box 948, Lebanon, Mo. 65536.
