WILLIAM "BILL" AUSTIN WOODRUFF

William “Bill’’ Austin Woodruff, 54, of Cassville, formerly of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, at his home.

He was born Nov. 30, 1968, in Lebanon, Mo. to Joe Norman Woodruff Sr. and Marcella Stewart Woodruff.

On April 13, 2009, he married Robyn Nicole Cooner, and they shared the last 11 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Joe Norman Woodruff Jr., and his stepfather, Terry Long.

Bill was born and raised in the Lebanon area and graduated from Lebanon High School in the Class of 1985. He entered the military was a young man and served his country faithfully in the United States Marine Corps from 1985 until 1989, spending two years of that time in Spain. After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, he lived in Arizona and California before returning to the Lebanon area. He worked at Independent Stave Company, which is now Missouri Cooperage, and also did garage door repair work for Overhead Doors. He later moved to Cassville and worked as a machine maintenance man for IDF Foods in Monett.

He is survived by his wife Robyn of the home; two daughters, Marissa Woodruff and Allyssa Woodruff, both of Cassville; three sons, William Woodruff Jr., Jayden Woodruff and Austin Woodruff, all of Cassville; two grandsons, Trisan and William A. “Trey’’ III; two stepbrothers, Mitch Long of Jenkins, Mo. and Marty Long of Republic; a stepsister, Michelle Willis of Maryville; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for William “Bill’’ Austin Woodruff will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon. Burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery, under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon. Visitation will be 5-6:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
