The westbound Interstate 44 rest area at Conway was scheduled to be closed in the middle of the week for repairs.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, the road was to close at 3 p.m. Tuesday and reopen at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Contractor crews will repair the Conway Rest Area exit pavement ramp onto westbound I-44 (mile marker 110). Once the exit ramp work is complete the rest area will be reopened, MoDOT said.
I-44 will remain open during the work.
