A winter storm that brought ice and snow to Lebanon left many people in the area kicking off the new year with no electricity.
Widespread power outages started early Friday morning as freezing precipitation overnight caused tree limbs to break off and damage electric lines. Some lines were also damaged by ice forming on lines and weighing them down, according to the city of Lebanon.
