Longtime area broadcaster Warren Hess Goforth, 80, of St. Robert, died Saturday, April 29, 2023, in his home.
He is survived by his wife Shirley of the home; his two children, Robert Goforth (Christy Kidd) of Richland and Susan Hank of St. Peters; his adoptive son, Nathan Hammock of Waynesville; five grandchildren, Michael Goforth, Matthew Castellana and wife Laurn, Jeffrey Hank, Jason Hank and Aubrey Goforth; two great-grandchildren, Eden and Ryan Castellana; his brother, Wesley Goforth and wife Kathy of Hilton Head, S.C.; his sister, Mary Rhonda Holman of New Bloomfield; two nieces, Wendy Miller and husband David and Faith Baxter and husband Mark; a nephew, Todd Holman, as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023, in the Dixon United Methodist Church in Dixon. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. in the church. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Warren Goforth, and may be left at the service or at Memorial Chapel.
