Walk 4 Life raises money for the Pregnancy Support Center

Laclede County Pregnancy Support Center held its annual fundraiser, the Walk 4 Life, Monday with two groups taking to the sidewalks to get their message out. Lenita Davison with the Center said the Walk 4 Life began in 2002. “It’s just basically to raise funds for the pregnancy center so that we can continue serving the community. We serve them for free and confidential,” Davison said. The Center provides pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, parenting and prenatal classes and more. It works with many other local community-serving agencies to fulfill its mission. The Walk 4 Life featured a 5 p.m. group and a second group starting at 5:20 p.m. For more on this story, see the LCR.
