Vernon Edward Youngblood, 60, of Springfield, died Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, in Springfield.
He was born Oct. 3, 1961, in Harrison, Ark. to the late George Youngblood and Helen Youngblood.
Vernon was preceded in death by his father George and brother Wesley Youngblood.
He is survived by his special friend Dena Myers of Springfield; three daughters, Shawna Johnson and her fiance Richard Church of Lebanon; Amber Sporich and her husband Kevin of Lebanon; Ava Tandy and her boyfriend Cameron Shave of Springfield; one son, Chad Youngblood of Hartville; 13 grandchildren, Makenna and Kylee Johnson, Allyson, Kaden and Garrett Church, Ashton, Ethan and Kenzleigh Sporich, Breana, Emily, Natalie and Andrew Youngblood, and Stella Taylor; his mother, Helen Youngblood; two sisters, Georgia Turner of Branson and Charity Boyd of Rockaway Beach; several nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Services for Vernon Edward Youngblood will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, at Community Baptist Church, 15905 Missouri 64, Lebanon, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m.
