Vera “Vicki’’ Erna Barrett was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 8, 1933, to August Busch and Freida Drochner Buskies Busch. She passed away on November 14, 2025, at The Arbors Memory Care in Lebanon, MO.
In March 1956 she met and married Richard Kent Barrett in Minneapolis, Minnesota. To this marriage two daughters were born.
Vicki was a homemaker until her children were grown. She was active in many organizations including Eastern Star, League of Women Voters, Newcomers, Toastmasters and Master Gardeners. She received a BA in Communication and Theater Arts from Western Connecticut State University in 1991 graduating Cum Laude. After her children were grown she worked in retail, secretarial and security positions.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan Adams of Orange, CA and Cynthia White of Grovespring, MO. Grandchildren Patrick, Eric, Heidi and Jennifer and numerous great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the outstanding caregivers at The Arbors in Lebanon and Good Shepherd Hospice.
