Velma Doine Wilson Jensen, 82, of Buffalo, was born Sept. 5, 1941, in Montrose, Colo. to Edward Eugene Wilson and Doine Robertson Wilson and died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024. She is survived by her husband Joe of Buffalo; her daughter, JoVonda and husband Matt Merrell of Shawnee, Kan.; two sons, Rodney and wife Kelly Jensen of Bolivar and Gary and wife Mickey of Concord, N.C.; 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren with two more on the way; a sister, Lorene and husband Merlin Phillips, and three brothers-in-law, Lynn and Judy Jensen, Dub and Rosemary Jensen and Vin and Michelle Jensen. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Bolivar First Assembly of God under the direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
