Vanessa Marie Ragsdale Medlin Copes, 41, of Marshfield, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rita.
Vanessa was a graduate of Marshfield High School. She worked for 14 years at 1st Kid’s Preschool and was currently a secretary for the Webster County Clerk’s office.
She was a member of Northview First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her fiance’, Brent Copes; her children, Bethanie Medlin and Ryan Medlin, both of Marshfield; her father, Leo Ragsdale of Marshfield; two brothers, Charley Ragsdale of Springfield, and Jeff Ragsdale and his wife Sharon of Marshfield; one sister, Kimberly Cottrell and her husband Donald of Marshfield; her nieces and nephews, Ryland Cottrell, Rosalie Cottrell, Alie Ragsdale and Tyler Herrera; and several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Vanessa Copes will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, in Fraker Funeral Home Inc. in Marshfield.
Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday in the funeral home.
