The unemployment rate in Laclede County continues to inch downward, but the area still remains higher than the state unemployment rate.
According to data released by the state, the Lebanon Micropolitan Area had a 9.9 percent unemployment rate in July, which is a half a percent drop from the June rate and more than 2 percent down from May.
