Track team improving as season progresses

Posted

The Lebanon High School track and field team competed at big tournaments in Springfield throughout the week.
On the girls’ side, the Lady ‘Jackets performed well at the Girls Night Out event on Thursday at Glendale High School.
Senior Kally Mack continued her dominant season by breaking her own school record she set last week at the Lebanon Invitational in the Discus throw. She had a throw of 132-07.25, placing first in a prestigious meet.
“Kally is really throwing well right now,” Lebanon track and field head coach Shane Rebmann said. “Winning this meet is huge, and her throw of 132’ puts her right up there with the best in the state. She is relaxed but focused on getting better.
“She is really getting dialed in during practice and is carrying that over to the meets with some really good positive energy.”
