Timothy Wynne Preusch, 56, of Springdale, Arkansas, died on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at his home.
He was born on Jan. 30,1964 in Springfield, MO to Donald and Lilan Hastings Preusch. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lilan Hastings Preusch.
Tim graduated from Lebanon High School in 1982 and attended the University of Missouri at Rolla (now known as Missouri University of Science and Technology), graduating with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Tim worked for several companies during his 30 years as an engineer including Dayco, Foster Manufacturing, Black and Decker, Standard Motor Products and Baldor Electric. He lived and worked in several states including Arkansas, Kansas, Tennessee, Virginia and Missouri.
Tim was known for his dry sense of humor and quick wit. He had a ready joke or funny story for most any occasion. He was an avid fly fisherman who became proficient at tying his own flies. Tim played saxophone and keyboard and performed for many years in local bands wherever he lived. Tim and his wife greatly enjoyed shopping for treasures at yard sales and flea markets. Tim was an excellent marksman and loved antique guns and equipment. He enjoyed writing and composed essays and songs, both humorous and serious, for various events, occasions or just to express an emotion.
He is survived by his wife, Lacinda Files of the home; one son, Derek Preusch of South Haven, MS; his father, Don Preusch of Lebanon; two sisters, Lisa Huff and her husband Clayton of Lonedell, MO, Susan Egger and husband Kent of Reeds, MO; 3 nieces, Sadie Greever and husband Jeremiah of Sedalia, Maggie Raquet and husband Nathan of Dayton, OH, Emily Egger of Reeds, MO; 2 nephews, Garrett and Grant Egger of Reeds, MO; one great nephew, Judah Greever of Sedalia; 3 step children, Zach Files and his wife Jessica of Rogers, AR, Wes Files of Springdale, AR, and Suzannah Davidson and her husband Matt of Fayetteville, AR.
A graveside service was held at Lebanon Cemetery on Dec. 5, 2020.
