Three new COVID-19 related deaths were reported Thursday by the Laclede County Health Department.
This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths in Laclede County to 17, the Health Department reported.
“These individuals were diagnosed and laboratory confirmed with COVID-19” according to a Health Department press release. “All of these individuals were reported to have had other underlying health issues.”
“On behalf of the Laclede County Health Department, our thoughts and deepest prayers are extended to the families involved,” the Health Department said in the release.
Also on Thursday, the Health Department received notification of 16 additional positive laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Laclede County. The county has now reported 1,114 cases to date with 372 currently being monitored, 728 considered recovered and 14 deaths.
