Thomas S. “Tom’’ Reser, 90, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Lebanon, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas.

He was born Feb. 20, 1930, in Lebanon, Mo. to Dr. O.M. and Ella (Wolf) Reser.

On Oct. 19, 1958, he married Mary Jo Ziph in St. Joseph.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Washington and Cynthia Reese and Frank and Mary Wolf.

Tom grew up in Lebanon and graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1947. After graduation, he proudly served our country in the United States Army, during the Korean Conflict, until his honorable discharge in 1950. After leaving the military Tom completed his education at Kansas State University and Kansas City University’s School of Dentistry Medicine, graduating in 1959. He began his dentistry career in Lebanon, and over the years volunteered his services in Saipan and Honduras. He and Mary eventually retired in San Antonio in 1976, where he remained until his passing. Tom was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife Mary Jo of the home; one sister, Vernette Reser Hough of Springfield; special cousins, Cindy and Ted McDaniel of Appleton City, Mo.; and special friends, Steve and Renee Swaim of Springfield; other relatives and many friends.
