Posted

The Lebanon Lion's Club along with the Marshfield Lion’s Club joined in celebrating the 90th anniversary of both clubs recently at a banquet in Marshfield.

According to Lion Debbie Cantrell, who has been a member of Lebanon’s club since 2004, last year was actually Lebanon’s 90th anniversary, but because of COVID-19, the celebration
was cancelled.

The Lebanon Lion’s Club was formed in 1930 with a focus on meeting the vision needs of people in the community, but the club has since gone on to help with many other needs.

Lions Club International is the world’s largest service club organization with more than 1.4
million members in 46,000 clubs around the world.
