Lebanon, Missouri will welcome America’s Automotive Trust’s “The Drive Home” this Saturday, Jan. 10, as part of a nationwide celebration honoring the Route 66 Centennial. The visit highlights Lebanon’s rich automotive heritage and its enduring place along America’s most iconic highway. Co-sponsored by Shepherd Hills Factory Outlet, the event will bring automotive enthusiasts, historians, and travelers through the heart of Route 66 in Laclede County. Participants will experience key local landmarks that reflect the history and culture of the Mother Road. During their stop in Lebanon, the group will tour the Route 66 Museum, located inside the Lebanon-Laclede County Library, where exhibits showcase the stories, memorabilia, and people that helped shape Route 66’s legacy in the region. The visit will conclude with dinner at Smokin’ Jones BBQ, housed in the historic Wrink’s Market building, a longtime Route 66 landmark that has been thoughtfully preserved and repurposed.
