Terry William Bennett, 64, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023, in Springfield.
He was born Feb. 10, 1958, in Battle Creek, Mich. to Grant and Hilda Cohen Bennett.
Terry was preceded in death by his father.
After graduating from high school, Terry attended college and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree. He worked in safety and risk management and was OSHA certified. He was a car enthusiast and treasurer of Chicago Mopar Club. Terry was also an avid motorcyclist. Time spent with friends and family is what he enjoyed most.
He was a member of Happy Hill Church.
Survivors include his wife Deborah; Deborah’s grandchildren that they were raising together, Eleanor and Lukkus Kufner of the home; his mother, Hilda Bennett of the state of Florida; daughter, Dana Bennett of the state of Illinois; stepbrother, Ronald Mack Bennett and stepsister, Marilyn Kay Miller; other relatives and many friends.
There will be a memorial service for Terry William Bennett at a later date. His body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Sign guest book at www.shadelscolonialchapel.com.
