Teresa Lavon Green, Daughter of James William and Helen Louise (Blackwell) Green, was born August 3, 1962, in Lebanon, Missouri, and departed this life October 15, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty-four years.

Teresa met the love of her life and partner, Rick Nunn some forty odd years ago and the rest was history. The two were inseparable. It wasn’t often you would see one without the other. They shared decades of love and laughter side by side living a life they loved.

Teresa loved the outdoors and could often be found gardening various flowers and vegetables. Over the years she opened her home to several animals. She raised peacocks, roller pigeons, dogs and cats. Her heart and home always had room for one more animal.

Teresa loved spending time with her family and cherished the memories made with them. She wore the title “Aunt Teresa” proudly, and was most fond of her nieces and nephews.

She leaves behind to celebrate her memory her sisters, Margaret Hess and Helen Hartwig and her husband Tim, her brother, James William “Bill” Green; several nieces, nephews other relatives and many dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her partner, Rick Nunn; two sisters, Phyliss Norton and Lily Olson; three brother-in-laws, Douglas Hess, Dennis Norton and Kevin Olson; one sister-in-law, Linda Green.

Teresa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

There are no services planned for Teresa at this time. She is to be cremated.
