Sylvia Jean Pettitt, 83, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, in Lebanon.
She was born Feb. 24, 1937, to Eugene and Twila Ankeny Smith.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Devra (Smith) Muntz; and one brother, Sonny Smith.
She was the owner and operator of Merle Norman Cosmetics in Lebanon for many years. She was a devoted wife and mother, always putting the needs of her family first.
Sylvia was a longtime, active and faithful member of Heritage Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Bob; one son, Bobby Pettitt of Lebanon; three daughters, Terry Lindner and her husband John of Colorado; Laina Starnes and her husband Eddie and Janna Clamme and her husband Jeff, all of Lebanon; eight grandchildren, Ashlee Ehmann and her husband Frank, Chelsea Trammell and her husband Rocky, Charlie Pettitt, Rachele Wood and her husband Dave, Chance Smith, Josh Root, Tarah Root, and Teiah DeVasure and her husband Logan; several great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends
There is no service planned at this time for Sylvia Jean Pettitt. Her body is to be cremated under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
