Stephen Leon Wilson, 51, of Lebanon, died Friday morning, Sept. 18, 2020, in Lebanon.

He was born July 2, 1969, in Stoutland, Mo. to Ronald Jean and Janice Sue Woods Wilson.

Stephen was preceded in death by his mother.

He was born and raised in the Stoutland community, and graduated from Stoutland High School. He then attended Southwest Baptist University and Drury University before finishing in Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Central Missouri State University. He then taught schools in Missouri and California for several years. He eventually returned to the Lebanon area where he owned and operated South Five Car Wash for the last several years.

Stephen attended Stoutland Baptist Church throughout his life. The last few years he had attended the New Beginning Church in Stoutland.

He is survived by his father, Ron Wilson of Stoutland; three brothers, Chris Wilson and his wife Charity of Stoutland; Mike Pierson and his wife Barbie of Excelsior Springs, and Bill Fite and his wife Lisa of Monrovia, Ind.; a sister, Judy Fite Zerface of Florida; seven nieces and nephews, Justin, Devin and Nicholas Pierson, Zach and Logan Fite, Ericka Fraits, and Madison Wilson; four great-nieces and nephews, Caleigh-Rae, Cora Jean, Graham, and Landon; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Stephen Leon Wilson will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2020, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon with the Rev. Jay Browning officiating. Burial will be in Stoutland Cemetery at Stoutland under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
